1. Functional cookies only

ikzoekeenkot.be doesn't use tracking, advertising or analytics cookies. The cookies we set are necessary to keep the platform secure and reliable; they don't require consent.

2. Cookies we use

• Language preference — remembers your chosen language for up to one year. This functional cookie is called NEXT_LOCALE.
• Session cookie — keeps you signed in during a visit and expires automatically after 15 minutes of inactivity.
• Refresh cookie — keeps you logged in between visits for up to 30 days. This is an HttpOnly cookie that cannot be read using JavaScript.
• CSRF cookie — protects against unintended changes triggered from other websites.

In production environments, these cookies have the prefix __Host-. They are sent exclusively over HTTPS.

3. Local storage

We don't store tokens or profile data in your browser's localStorage or sessionStorage. Temporary search data stays only in the page's memory.

4. Third-party services

Map images and address searches are only loaded when you actively choose to use them. This makes your IP address visible to the relevant service (OpenStreetMap). Fonts are loaded locally from our own server, not from an external CDN.

5. Managing cookies

You can delete cookies at any time through your browser settings. Because these cookies are necessary, you will no longer be able to use the site while logged in if you block them.
